Park District Takes Control of Phosphorus, Harmful Algal Blooms with UltraPHOSx 5000
Due to population growth, harmful algal blooms (HABs) are increasingly impacting water bodies worldwide. Cyanobacteria, commonly referred to as blue-green algae, are a primary driver of HABs and can produce cyanotoxins that may irritate skin, damage the liver, and be fatal to wildlife.
