SVP Operations
Derek Linder is Usalco’s Senior Vice President of Operations & Engineering. He oversees operational performance, budgeting, and capital investments across the company’s manufacturing network, directs its process engineering project portfolio, and leads Usalco’s Caribbean operations team.
Derek joined the company in 2012 and has advanced through manufacturing leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including Quality Assurance Manager, Plant Manager, Regional Manufacturing Manager, and Vice President of Manufacturing, giving him firsthand experience at every level of plant operations. Over that time, he has helped drive Usalco’s growth through capacity expansions, acquisition integration, and operational excellence programs.
Derek began his career as an Analytical Chemist at Praxair, developing analytical methods and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
He earned a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University, a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Southeastern Louisiana University.
