USALCO liquid Potassium Aluminate is a colorless or amber, odorless, tasteless, strongly alkaline coagulant sold as a solution, approximately 49.54% by weight. USALCO Potassium Aluminate is guaranteed to be free of settling or precipitation problems, provided proper handling and storage precautions are followed.
Potassium Aluminate is most typically used as a raw material in the production of other alumina-based products. But, it is also widely used in municipal drinking water and waste water treatment systems and is especially popular for wastewater treatment applications in regions with sodium sensitivity.
USALCO Potassium Aluminate is an economical source of highly reactive alumina manufactured by dissolving alumina tri-hydrate into potassium hydroxide.
