USALCO provides Alumer™, a blend of Alum with a polymer, for water treatment factilities including drinking water and industrial make up water. We deliver Alumer in truckload quantities in dedicated transportation equipment to insure quality.
Alumer lowers chemical costs, improves water clarity, increases water filterability, and reduces sludge production. USALCO’s proven ability to blend iron-free, low contaminant alum with a variety of highly effective polyelectrolytes provides a unique synergy never found in previous Alum polymers blend.
Alumer is a blend of iron-free Aluminum Sulfate and Polymer. Alumer replaces multiple coagulants and/or filter aids with a single product that works with a single feed system.
Alumer products are certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 60: Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals – Health Effects at a maximum dosage of 150 mg/L and meet the specifications of the American Water Works Association Standard B403-09.
Significant results have been consistently achieved by USALCO customers. Here are some highlights of using our polymer and alum blend:
- Sludge generation reduced by 50%.
- Coagulant dosage reduced by 60%.
